In the aftermath of a brutal conflict a militia-woman awakes to a disturbing new reality.

What's the idea?

'Scavenger' is a 90 second film that we hope to film in Bath and enter into the 'Depict' film festival in Bristol. Offering a snapshot into the brutal and haunting reality faced after a conflict, it also works as an allegory for political and social division. In a film shaped nutshell we're after some seed money to help us with the shoot.

Who are we?

Laurence Guy - Writer, Producer and current student on the MA in Scriptwriting course at Bath Spa.

Keith Kopp - Director and Bath Spa alumni.

our story

As a writer/director team we've already worked on one short film 'Our Night' and are developing a script for a full length feature that we hope to shoot in the area. We're passionate about telling stories which resonate with the human condition - supporting this project will help us on the next step of our journey.

Where will the money go?

  • If we hit our minimum it will help fund the technical crew, props, make-up, costumes and art direction.
  • If we hit our full target we'll be able to bring in a greater skill base.
  • If we exceed our target we'll pump the money into post-production and ensuring that film gets the best possible promotion.
  • We'll post updates on every significant step of the way to keep you informed.
