A short summary of your project
We are trying to raise £250 to help support the Nightline project that is ran for the current students of Bath Spa. This is a telephone service that runs from 8pm to 8am for any students needing to talk to someone confidentially during the time when student services are not available. They are student volunteers that will listen to any worries or concerns or if everything gets too much. The volunteers have had some training, however, this further training will help them to provide a higher quality service for both current and potential students of BSU.
Who are you?
Hi! We are Ollie Robinson-Sivyer and Jess McKenzie and we are leading this project to raise funds to support Nightline. We are both second year students working for the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) and want to help support both current and future students of BSU.
Your story
We want to help and fundraise for Nightline to have in-depth training courses on how to best support students when they are struggling. Mental health is a big issue at the moment and is affecting a lot of people across the University on different levels. By donating you would be contributing to a pool of donors which would help to support the training to help support yourselves, a friend or a future student at BSU. Sometimes we all need a little helping hand :)
Rewards
We will be offering rewards for everyone who donated something to the cause to show you how much we appreciate your contributions:
£1-£5 - a personalised message from Ollie or Jess saying thank you!
£10 - a personalised thank you cup-cake made by Jess!
£15 - Ollie and Jess throw cream pies in each other's faces!
£20 - Ollie and Jess will wear an animal onesie for a day around Newton Park Campus!

You don't need to donate to help - please share the project with anyone you think may support us
Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated to help us reach our goal and help us make this happen and help improve the mental health services at BSU!
