Meet the cast!

Nadine Comba, playing Margery

Nadine has been involved in the theatre for more than 30 years and has appeared in numerous productions. Her most recent roles have been in ‘Abigail’s Party’ at The Mission, Bath and ‘The Deep Blue Sea’ at the Rondo Theatre, Bath.

Nadine is playing Margery in ‘Ghost Orchid’. Margery is extremely old and spends her days (and nights!) roaming the beech forest. She has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the plants and flowers that grow there.

Jonah Kensett, playing DANIEL

Jonah got his start aged thirteen in the original run of Haley Cox’s ‘Leave Hitler To Me Lad’, continuing to work on the show for its West End run in 2015. He studied writing at Bath Spa University, and in 2020 began a year-long residency with Bristol Old Vic Theatre. This led to him being a co-founder of Owl On The Roof Theatre and he is currently working on their upcoming adaptation of ‘Children of Lir’.

Jonah is playing Daniel in ‘Ghost Orchid’. Daniel is a botanist who is undertaking a survey of the forest near to Liz and Stefan’s farm. His arrival causes mixed reactions within the family.

Lauren Michell, playing ewa

Lauren recently graduated from the University of Wales Trinity St David where she studied Musical Theatre. Past credits include Peter Pan in ‘Peter Pan’ and Judas in ‘Godspell’.  She is currently adding as many strings to her bow as possible.

Lauren is playing Ewa in ‘Ghost Orchid’. Ewa is the youngest child of Liz and Stefan. She is a free spirit who loves nature.

Lindy Flecknor, playing Liz

Lindy trained in Performing Arts at Eastleigh College. Past roles include Alice in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and The Duke in Terry Pratchett’s ‘Wyrd Sisters'. In recent years she has enjoyed delving into the darker side of the human psyche and is on a lifelong journey of exploring her acting talents and finding out where it takes her.

Lindy is playing the central role of Liz in ‘Ghost Orchid’. Liz runs the dairy farm with her husband, Stefan, and is determined to keep her family safe, no matter what.

Douglas Murdoch, playing Tomasz. 

Douglas is a Bath-based actor and theatre maker. As one of the co-founders of Greedy Pig Theatre Company, Douglas has spent the last few years producing work of a number of different themes and forms, many of which he has written himself. He has now turned his focus back to acting, having recently starred as Edison in 'Pinewood' (Screen, 2021) and is delighted to be returning to the stage in 'Ghost Orchid'!

Douglas is playing Tomasz in 'Ghost Orchid'. Tomasz is Liz and Stefan’s son and spends much of his spare time helping on the farm. Although he doesn’t mind farm work, like most 16 year-olds he’d rather be out with his mates.

Gabrielle Finnegan, playing  freya

Gabrielle trained in acting at Bath Spa University. Her recent credits include performer in the Bodies Stories trilogy (music videos for Still Life With Cat), Evie in ‘West Country Oriental Gentleman’ (rehearsed reading, Beyond Face), Narrator in ‘Cat and Her Whittington’ (SparkFest2021), Urgency (music video for Yellow Belly), Performer/Writer in ‘Coven’ (digital/poetry for Holly Jefferies), and Narrator/Isabella in 'Fall of Kings' (Apricity Theatre). Gabrielle is also a writer, director, and poet. 

Gabrielle is playing Freya in ‘Ghost Orchid’. Freya is a feisty 19 year old who can’t wait to leave home. She finds life in the country extremely dull and has a fractious relationship with her mum, Liz.

Martyn Jessop, playing Stefan

Martyn is based in Somerset and has been acting for many years. He trained at Northbrook Theatre Arts Centre and Bristol Acting Academy. His recent credits include Messala in 'Ben Hur' (Theatre Royal Bath, Main House), Sarge in 'Female Transport' (Ustinov, Bath) and Thomas Putnam in 'The Crucible' (Wells Little Theatre). 

Martyn is playing Stefan in 'Ghost Orchid'. Stefan is a Polish migrant who has lived in the U.K. for over 20 years. He is married to Liz and runs the dairy farm with her. He is normally even tempered but is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in.
