What is our event?
We are three events students, who are putting together a virtual event on the 1st of December, to help everyone get into the festive spirit during this very unusual year. Our event will be two hours, and will consist of live craft making, from a sustainable ambassador, who will be able to show you in real time how to make sustainable Christmas products such as Christmas Crackers, Baubles and Wreaths :)
Who are you?
We are three events students, Tallulah, Poppy and Ciara. We are looking to create a fun event that not only is fun to complete but also is informative about sustainability and helping the environment :)
We feel that this is a very worthy cause because of the importance of sustainability, and we also understand that during this unsure time individuals cannot meet friends and family as they normally would, so we want to help by offering this fun, virtual event. Come and have a mince pie with us, virtually, whilst we show you how to make Christmas decorations! Once tickets are bought, we will send out crafts materials to attendees ahead of the event, which is why we are fundraising.
Where will the money go?
We have made a promise to use the money for the craft materials we need, and any extra money we receive we will donate to a Christmas charity local to Bath, such as 'Lonely at Christmas.'
We don't have any venue hire charges as it is a virtual event, so our costs are low however we do require funding for the craft materials and potential printing costs.
If you donate we will ensure you not only get free entry to our event and are supplied with all the craft materials required, but we will also thank you via our social media pages and inform everyone at the event of the generous donations (if you are of course comfortable with this.)
