Who are we?
6 energetic post-grad MA students with one thing in common - a passion for design and textiles.
our story
Ours is a simple story - it's about new beginnings. It's about opportunity. It's about passion and energy. It's about championing British Design and Artisan quality. At a time in life when many people are already settled into their journey, we want to build a new road! Having successfully completed our studies, we need to be able to showcase our work at the UK's premier exhibition for new design talent - New Designers 2019 in London.
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of something truly special - to empower us in introducing our work to influential clients, commercial buyers and potential customers.
We want to share this exciting moment with you! Every single contribution over a certain level will receive a prize increasing in value according to the donation. See details below.
Where will your money go?
Exhibiting at New Designers is difficult. Not only in terms of earning the right to be there but of course the Fiscal challenge. Here are some examples of the costs we face:
- Venue hire - (3 days) £1,920
- Accommodation: £2,150
- Travel (including van hire & petrol): £974
- Production costs: (Lighting, furniture, signage) £648
- Printing costs (Press packs, post cards, business cards): £544
Our minimum requirement will allow us to exhibit with less frills like press packs but we really want to reach our audience with an impressive message. The great news is, that every £1 donated through this site, our University will match - so every single penny will help!
Rewards
It's really important for us that you feel involved and can see directly the impact your help will provide. We think the best way to do that is to give away some awesome prizes that will allow you to see exactly what it is that we are doing! The more you donate, the more awesome the prize - obviously!
- If you donate £15 - £20 you will receive a pack of unique postcards highlighting the exhibited work.
- If you donate £25 - £99 you will receive a free day pass to join us at the show!
- If you donate £100+ you will receive an exclusive 3-day VIP pass allowing unprecedented access!
