A short summary of your project

A group of 2023 graduates of Bath Spa's BA Photography are fundraising for their degree show at Free Range, London. Free Range is one of Europe's largest graduate showcases and this will be Bath Spa's inaugural exhibition at the show. We would like to raise £1000 to fund the costs of installing our work and producing a show to the highest standard.

Who are we?

We are Bath Spa third year BA photography students, Maria Harris-Sutton, Abigail Tinnion, Holly Warren, Lily Barton, Lizzy Collar, Drew Turner, Kuba Knap, Ashley Lee-Cerrino, Eliza Cooney, Yamuna Shukla, Tom Cassidy, Ellen Brooks, Archie Thornton, Raphael Manzo, Oliver Mansell, Marty Lau, Thomas Mackenzie-Philps, Jodie Ackerman, Rosee Daveys, Jack Williams and Taishin Kiuchi.

our story

This exhibition is the culmination of three years of developing our practices and finding our voices as photographers and artists. The work we exhibit at Free Range will be a diverse collection of long form projects, individual artworks and installations. Showcasing our work at Free Range is an exciting opportunity to have our work seen in a prominent industry event alongside other emerging artists. As well as a celebration of the quality of work produced on the course, it will also be invaluable as our first major show as photographers. 

The show will be held at the Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, E1 6QL and is open to the public from June 23rd to June 25th 2023. 

Where will the money go?

We have already raised enough money to hire the venue through fundraising events and student contributions of £250 per student. However, to be able to install our work and present it to a high standard we will need your help. Everything we raise will go towards the installation of our work. This includes preparing the space, printing, framing, hanging and audio-visual equipment. The more money we can raise, the higher the standard of our work's presentation, which is crucial to representing ourselves, our work and creating a professional and enjoyable show.
